Ipad Connection Kit

I have an Ipad 1 and have use the IPad camera connection kit successfully several times.

Today, when I tried downloading pictures from my camera I get a message

Accessory unavailable the attached accessory uses too much power.

Does anyone know what that means?

That's is strange, I have used the CCK many times without ever seeing that. Has your camera got sufficient charge, the connection on the iPad does not supply power so maybe your camera charge is not sufficient to allow the photos to be uploaded. Only a guess here mind you. Closing out apps completely and a restart or reset may help here also.
