Take a flashlight and carefully examine the cable port to make sure there is no debris. If something slightly conductive has gotten into the port it might cause something like this when no cable is plugged in.

Otherwise, if you have not done so recently, try restarting or reseting the iPad and see if that helps.

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends you restart the iPad at least once a month.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.

Hello, all the above mentioned solutions do not work to solve the problem.
I got in touch with Apple technical support by phone. It was recommended to me as the last option, back up and reinstall the whole system at Itunes.
I did that and still continued the problem.
However, without my having done anything, he just disappeared after three days. Is normal, as new.
The forums of Apple there are hundreds of people with the same problem.
    Thank U.

    Thanks for the follow up.

I'm glad it is working properly again, however it happened.
