I'm not sure how to answer, other than with the obvious suggestion:

"fix it"

;)

My ipad corner is broken.

What is the solution?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

How is your iPad broken.....is it the glass? Or is the casing damaged also?

The best solution we have for fixing a broken iPad is to make an appointment with the Genius Bar at your nearest Apple Store....you will not need your receipt as they can look up all relevant info at the store. They will most probably offer to replace your iPad but for a cost...it's normally half of the original cost of the iPad. If this is fine by you, make sure you do a complete backup of your iPad before you go.

There are other businesses that can do this for you which will probably be cheaper but be aware that this will void your warranty, but then again your warranty would already be voided because of the damage. If you do replace with Apple, your warranty is reinstated, if you do have warranty. I have also heard many members who have gone the cheaper route then find that their WiFi will not work as this has been damaged by the replacing of the screen.

In addition, you can also contact Apple customer service. Here are some great web sites to aid you in your repair search:

Contact Info:

Apple Support:

Check for Warranty:

For those of you not living in the USA, here is a link whereby you can select your country and then be directed to the Apple site for your country:

Hey,

Does anybody know how much it is to exchange an iPad with a broken glas at any apple store.
As far as I know it is less than buying a new.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

It depends on what iPad you already have and is normally about half the cost of replacement if they do offer it to you.

Is it still under warranty or not?

You will see all the relevant info in my post above.

Okay, i have to check for the warranty - I guess it's not (I don't have my iPad with me at the moment).
It's an iPad 3, 32 GB wifi only.

Does "
about half the cost of replacement" mean it is half the price of buying a new one?

It's still worth going to Apple and hope they do offer you this deal whether you have warranty or not.

Yes it is normally half the price of the iPad you already have. You will not receive the ipad4 but most probably a refurbished ipad3.

Good luck!
