IPad Battery

So I accidentally dropped my iPad, and since then, my battery seems to have lost a lot of it's efficiently. Does that make sense? There was no real damage done other a small dent in the right top corner. My iPad use to lose very little battery power overnight, now it almost drains overnight.

Anyone have any ideas? I have tried re-downloading the operating system, etc.

Unfortunately it makes perfect sense. The battery has developed a short. You can hope to burn through the short by fully discharging and recharging it a few times and if that does not help then you just need to get the battery replaced.

Yes you may have damaged your battery as zohone has said. Be aware if you do fully discharge your battery that it may take a good 10 minutes of charging before the iPad will be able to turn on again, just didn't want you to think that you do have a problem when this is normal.
