Ipad app for texting

I am looking for an app for texting that dent have to link to Facebook or gmail. Any suggestions welcome!

i use Hey Wire... but check out the TEXTING APPS in the App Store, i don't know if hey wire uses facebook or Gmail.

Check out TextFree! I use it all the time on both my iPad and iPhone... it's made by Pinger and it's FREE!

TEXTIE is another, can include photo without problem.

Textie is a great app. Works well on both iphone and ipad. I can even text phone numbers from both devices. Best part is it's free and it works!
