What antivirus does everyone use for there ipad ? and how did you install it ? Thanks

Knock on wood--we have been very lucky to not have viruses attack our stock ipads. However, if you jail break your ipad--my understanding is that it can open the risk for these attacks to occur.

A jailbroken iPad is just as safe as a stock iPad ...

However, if you install a tweak that allows you secure shell (SSH) access to your iPad, you will need to change the default password that every iPad comes with. Because ANYONE with bad intentions knows that default password and if you don't change it - you do open yourself up to hacking from outside. Any/all recorded instances of hacking a jail broken iPad occurred because the owner did not change that password. So, their bad! :)

But, if you don't install an SSH tweak, then you really don't have to worry any more than a person with a stock iPad. As skimonkey said, we're pretty safe with our iDevices ... for now.

I think you mean VirusBarrier, which is available from the App Store. Interestingly, because of the way iOS works, it cannot actively scan, but it only scans files on demand - that is you have to initiate the scan of specific files.
