iPad and Time Capsule

Is it possible to download data from my timecapsule with my iPad when I'm connected to another network than my own?

In an emergency "oh crap, I forgot that file" or regularly? I can think of several emergency ways, but nothing comes immediately to mind that is easy to use and cool - unless you set up an FTP server on your Mac, then use GoodReader to grab the files.
