ipad and foxtel go

my ipad thinks i am outside Australia and will not allow access to programs or live sports. Foxtel have handballed the problem to Apple. has anybody else experienced this problem and have got a fix. Error code is ps403.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

This is what foxtel have to say on this error below. From what I see on the net, others have also had this problem and they recommend deleting then redownloading the app also. I would also recommend trying a reset of your iPad - Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you may see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start.

Error message – ‘PS403’

Your device IP address is not being recognised in our system as a valid Australian IP address. This could be due to third party apps, Proxy settings, VPN, or corporate networks. Delete any third party app that may be causing the conflict, or try connecting to a different network.

Welcome , your location and also address are important. One assumes you are in the correct itunes store. If the issue continues contact iTunes support. Provide them with your IP address and Australian registration details. I suggest signing out of the iTunes account then sign back in also do a soft reset. Ie on/off key and home key held down until white Apple logo appears. The worst case would be to create a brand new account Australian address, gmail.email or alternative with .com.au and Australian credit card

Just noticed Leelai, responded at same time.... Lol. Yes remove the App and download it again...and yes we have 2 administrators in Australia both live in Brisbane with in 10 k of each other. It's a small world.....
