Ipad and bookmarks

My Safari PC bookmarks were successfully synced to my ipad4 and iphone 4S. However, now when I add a new biookmark on my computer it does not show up in the other devices. Driving me crazy! I thougth that the update should happen automnatically. MOn my Ipad I checked "iCloud backup "on"

I'm not familiar with the iCloud options available on a PC, however if bookmarks can be synced with your PC's browser you will find them in the iCloud Control Panel on the PC. iCloud backup would have nothing to do with keeping bookmarks synced.
