I don't keep up with the apple release events and was curious about speculation about the air 3 potential release in the future, possibly will it contain the a9 chip? this thing sounds like a beast and wondering if it's only for the pro model? when would the air 3 come out?

At this point we aren't likely to see an Air 3 until next year this time. There was no mention of it at the keynote and the Air 2 still has plenty of specs to hold it's own for another year at least.
