iPad Air 2 wifi connectivity problem

Hi, got an air 2 yesterday .set up as new but i can't even load an page on safari and it says no connection although the wifi signals on left corner is always on. Reset router, reset network settings, reset iPAd air too (home button and on/off button) and none help resolve it. Checked Apple site, and I see a few people have these problems Nd state it is router problem. Don't understand it about ac routers, abgn routers. Can anyone help? Was super happy with my new purchase and now I'm sad....

Sent from my old ipad2. Even my old one has no problem at all with same router.

Fixed it by resetting modem.

It's fairly common to have a device not connect properly to a router when other devices have no problem. As you've discovered, resetting the router solves the problem most times.
