Just because a train stops at your station that is all new and shiny that does not mean you have to hop on it. One can wait for the next one. In this day and age technology is moving faster than ever before so it is a case of buying what fits your needs and holding on to that product as long as it serves to be useful to you. Yes the next generation iPad will be released most likely next March with more bells and whistles than the iPad 4 that's the way technology is........and that has been the case since the first computers were available.

Still loving my ipad 3 I am not going to even think about updating for at least 3 years....wonder what will be available then lol

Still loving my iPad 1... It does everyting I want it to do.. Despite only being released two years ago, it has become ancient history. -- Much like the iPad 4 will be two years from now If I had a three, I wouldn't sweat about the new 4...

All they'd need would be some kind of attachment point on the backside of the iPad.

I had a question about the resolution of the screen of the new iPad! Can the resolution be increased any more? Since "Apple" say the resolution of the new iPad is so great that human eyes cannot distinguish between pixels! That means there is not point in increasing the resolution

Once you get to the point where the eye cannot distinguish individual pixels, increasing the resolution of the display any further becomes just a marketing ploy.

With the 4th generation shockingly launched yesterday, can we see an updated version sometime in March 2013 iPad 5? The product cycle has shortened to 6 months now, Wow! And I feel little disappointed that my shiny 3rd Gen iPad shines a little less now ! To add to the misery, it has disappeared from Apple's website also! Nevertheless I still love my iPad 3. It has served me great till date, no complaints, no regrets!

BTW what improvements you would like to see in iPad 5. For me more storage would be as asset!

Gosh! I need to change my signature as well! My iPad is no more the new one!

I guess, faster processor, larger RAM, more storage, thinner and lighter body....that is all we can expect from the future releases. iPad is a revolutionary product, period!
