IPad 4th gen - app downloading impossibly slow

I got a new IPad 4 today and the internet is amazingly quick, but the app downloading is extremely slow. It took over 20 minutes to download facebook. I have done speed tests and everything and it says its receiving 48 mbps so I don't know what the problem is? Please help

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Well that is unusual.....try a reset of your iPad and see if this fixes it.

Reset - Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go,
