My MBP (current model) is a basic 13" model and it came with the standard 250 GB hard drive. You can order it with a larger hard drive if you need, but I prefer using external drives for non-critical storage. If you have an iPad 2, traditionally, the next iPad that you would go to is the iPad 4.
