Why do I see a great delay and inaccuracy on my iPad3 GPS map? I put my iPad2 side-by-side and it is dead-on accurate. The iPad3's GPS is basically useless for navigation in the car. I basically have to carry two iPads, using my old iPad2 for car navigation. Bummed!

I have tried removing all the running apps and hard-booted the device. I have tested it over two weeks - every time it lags and is inaccurate.

Is your iPad (3rd Gen) a WiFi only version and you iPad 2 a 3G/WiFi version?

Yes. If your new iPad is a WiFi + 4G model, then you should take it back. There is something wrong with it. If it's a WiFi only model then it doesn't have a built in GPS receiver and some inaccuracy is normal.
