you'll have to be more specific. How are you trying to charge your iPad? Are you using the supplied charger plugged into a wall socket or are you connecting the cable to the USB port on a computer? Some USB ports do not supply enough power to properly charge an iPad. It will show as not charging, when in fact it is trickle charging at a very slow rate. Please help-- my iipad2 is not charging. Suggestions?
Thank you-- I did this and am hopeful that it will work. On a good note-- for the first time I heard the charging sound/beep. Will let you know i. A few hours if this fixes the problem. Thank you again for your helpful hints! Marcia
You're welcome! It's a good idea to do a reset after any update to your iPad as it just helps everything to settle in nicely. I hope this has fixed your issue now but let us know if it hasn't.
It finally charged to 100%, but it's very hard to get it to charge -- had to play with the plug in into the iPad for quite a whole and just hope I can get it to charge again when it needs it
Thank you for all the tips-- I used the vacuum on it and it seems to work much better. One more question, the ad I bought as an ipad 2 seems to really be a 3 because with the update to ios7 it has siri and my other ipad did not get siri Is this a true assumption?
Well aren't you the lucky one......Siri is only available on the iPad 3 and above and the mini. Have a look in settings - General - About and look for model......then google that number. That certainly is a bonus to have the 3!!
Yea-- it is a 3 and I got it on eBay sold as a 2 for 207.50 with free shipping!!!
