iPad 2 faster than a MacBook Pro for iMovie?

    Obviously, iMovie has been optimized to run on the iPad. So, the two versions may not have comparable performance.
    Also, it is obvious that the Desktop version of iMovie will have MORE features than the iOS version.

    That's interesting that it's bettered by both iPad 1 & 2, especially as iMovie isn't available for iPad 1?

    Gee build a mobile app that has barely a subset of its desktop equivalent's features and it runs faster. Surprising? Uh, no.
