Ipad 2 Bluetooth Connections

Experience : Bluetooth connections of Ipad2 to Iphone 3GS
1st Notice :
- slow detection processes
- detects Nokia and other nearby cellular but , still never connects .
Approach : install bluetooth apps. photo sharing in which iphone also has .
Resulted to : Afirmative connections
2nd Notice : needs a lot of time to connect even .

Questions : What about bluetooth connections with non apple products ? Is it possible ? Kindly send your detailed experience . Thanks a lot

The iPad has a very limited Bluetooth profile. I have the same experience as you - it can detect my Nokia 'phone but cannot connect because it does not support the necessary Bluetooth profile. The iPad can only connect to Bluetooth keyboards and headsets - but not to other devices such as printers.

Thanks Tim for sharing same experienced . At least Iam not the only one . I thought this is not usual to a so called properly designed hi-tec com.unit compared to other smartphone brands . Anyhow , it is a very expensive charged to experience situations...
