Hi,
For some reason I touched the adobe carousel app and now it says it has been
PURCHASED ?? I was wondering how because they didn't ask for my credit card info
but then I realized it was still in the system for a small 2.99 app payment. How
Do I cancel it?? I haven't even downloaded it! Hmmmm. Thanks, Devine

I am not sure how you would be able to purchase an app without being prompted to put your iTunes password in prior to installation. That's very odd that it shows up as being purchased and installed. Can you contact apple and give them your receipt number for a refund? Might be worth it, but also to find out how you had the app purchased without permission.

As Skimonkey said, you can apply for a refund.

The only way I know that you can purchase an app without a password is if you have very recently purchased another app because there is a default setting (I think it's 15mins) within which you don't need to input the password again, this can be changed in the settings app.

So, I've not tried to alter the time, I believe you can set it to 15mins (should be that by default) and never, not sure if there are any other options though.

Good to know, Gabriel1--I didn't realize that the appstore purchasing can remain on for 15 minutes. That can be dangerous for me!
Thank you!

My god they sure do!
I wanted to set myself up with good apps from the get-go. Didn't even notice until I saw my statement which showed I spent $360 on apps! I knew I was spending a lot, but wow a few HD movies and a ton of apps and bam it adds up. Be careful!

So, to clarify, to refund an app, I send apple my receipt number?

Yes this is how you do it, I think you need to explain why too. Do not just say you don't like the app as this won't qualify for a refund.

You have to have a credit on file to have an apple account

No you don't, some Apple accounts can be created without a credit card or iTunes card. In Australia we can create an account without either cards.

Thanks guys :) now, is there a contact email, or do I call a number? Does it say on my emailed receipt thing, and I'm just being blind, or is it a cleverly hidden secret? :p
