iPad 1 OS Update Issue

Hi,

Trying to update to OS 5 on our iPad1. When it does this it needs to backup the iPad to the C: drive of our PC and requires 17gb of free space. However there is only 14gb of free space on that drive.

Is there any way to have it look to the D: drive for the backup which has lots of free space?

Hi kkovak, you do not need to back up on drive C. Back up is just for your safe, in case your updating proccess is fail, you still have the last configuration for your iPad. So you can restore it at anytime
