iOS 7 problem

Hi I am new to the forum. I have been going through the threads looking to see if anyone has had this problem.
I installed iOS 7 today in my iPad and none of my apps will update.
I clicked in "select all" (to update), but now they just won't update. The "update" icon turns to the circle as
if it is updating, but it doesn't complete.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!

I noticed that myself, however, the apps are indeed updating. At least on my end it was. I actually went to the home page to see if the apps were loading and they were. I also had 46 apps that needed updating, which didn't help matters. So if you have a large number as I did, just be patient. You will notice it has finished updating when the circle turns into an "open" button.

Hope that helps--Welcome to the forum! :)

Thanks for your advice. My "update" doesn't even turn to the circle. I'll give it until tomorrow to see what happens. Thanks again! Padds

Yes, sometimes it's better to give it a break and try again later. Who knows, it may just be that the App Store servers are saturated and it's coming from their end and not yours. When you do try, do a few at a time first to see if it takes those. Don't do what I tried doing! ;)

There was a post recently about going to settings, then go to iTunes, Apps on the left hand side of the screen, tap on it and then there is an option where you can have things automatically update of you can turn it off so you have to choose to update then. Maybe your settings are off? I'm an iPad dunnie but that came to mind when I read your post. Also I have an iPad 2 and so far am scared of updating the IOS to seven.
Sp, please take this with a grain of salt and listen to Ski - he KNOWS what he is talking about, me not so much!

Thank you for your suggestion. It was turned on. I even tried downloading a new app and it's not working. I will probably just go to the Apple store :(

I haven't even updated to IOS 7 and my apps are just doing the circle thing that goes on forever - apps not updating? Same problem. Hoping it will work itself out.
Anyone?

Hi Diane - I'm not updating our iPads until the first or second 'bug' release by Apple (i.e. iOS 7.01 or 7.02, I guess?) - BUT, I've been getting app update notices and when I go to the app store the numbers to update disappear - my assumption is that these are iOS 7 updates that would not apply to my current iPad OS - have not had the experience you described (at least yet) - I'm still going to wait a while - good luck! Dave :)

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Try a reset of your iPad and then try to update your apps again. Let us know how you get on.

Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you may see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start.
