Ios 5?

Ok I've upgraded my itunes to itunes 10. Does this mean that i hv the ios 5. How would i know?

No, you don't have iOS 5 yet. You have iTunes 10.5, which is what is required to work with iOS 5 - but the OS has not been released yet.

How do I get the iBooks I purchased into my iTunes? It says I Have things on my iPad that I don't have in my iTunes, and I don't want to update iOS 5 in case I lose them..

Edit: Nevermind. Figured it out. I hope my pictures don't disappear, I had lots of backgrounds in my photo library... otherwise, I'm ready for the update, I think.
