Inventor/Pilot/Cartoonist, iPad NEWB, violating male oath by reading instructions

I found this forum and installed/registered the app after googling "Skype iPad video conference call" and finding a hit on the first page of search results.

I'm not sure which iPad I have. I bought it, fully loaded to the max, new, immediately after the Retina display became available.. IPad 3?

I'm in The Dalles, Oregon for a few months finishing my prototype but live in Raleigh, NC (suburb city Morrisville).

I retired from my career flying a WW2 Spitfire replica and cartooning for newspapers/magazines in 1991 to pursue my first love full time - inventing.

Welcome to the forum, Michael. Glad you could make it. Interesting reading about the Spitfire replica. Only thing I ever flew was an ultralight, and I crashed that. Figured I'd leave it to the experts.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

To find out which iPad you do have, have a look on the back of your iPad where it will say a Model no. It's in the middle and down towards the bottom. Once you have that number just Google it to find out.
