Introduction

Hello all, my name is Tim and I have just picked up a new IPhone 4s and IPad together today. I hope to use the Ipad as a work tool, a means of keeping simple word docs (quotes etc) and Excel forms (coatings) to hand whilst out and about onsite, or away from PC

I am now trying figure out the best way and best apps to allow me to this, I have downloaded Office HD but as yet not tried opening anything with it. I suspect detailed questions will follow

I have noticed on both iPad and iPhone that the calculator seems to be missing, any clues ?

There is no supplied calculator app with the iPad, but there are plenty of third party apps, many free...


Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
