Greetings: I am an educator at a Canadian university with no iPad or Mac experience - particularly interested in learning how to take and edit iPad videos of speakers that I can edit down to about 5 minutes of key points to use in my lectures on human rights and peacemaking. There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. Hello back from Canada.

Go to the App Store and search video editing.
You'll find multiple selections ( free and paid versions ) of apps that may do what you require.

If you need professional results it may be worth investing some money. Review the "Video Camera" app offered by i4Software.
