Thanks Dave. I didn't know that my choice of full size was going to be too big until they loaded and then I couldn't correct it.

No problem - my digital-camera takes 12 MP images, i.e. 4000x3000 pixels - I usually re-size them to 1200 or 1400 pixel width which post fine when the 'full image' option is used - the forum software seems to downsize the images to fit the screen because many of these when 'clicked-on' expand to a much larger size - would be curious if our mods might point us to the image rules in this forum? Dave

Some of my images have up to 16 MP (2.7 MB), and they can be posted as “Full Image” without problem. When I try uploading a panoramic picture with 20 MP (4.2 MB), it automatically turns into a thumbnail. So I guess the limit is somewhere between those.

Some time ago, the forums showed which size was allowed. If memory serves right, that was 8 MP, a few years ago. The number certainly has changed, and the software doesn’t show that information any more.
