This afternoon, a story popped up on NPR radio - brief quote below from HERE about the discovery of some 100 year-old baseball cards of the famous Detroit Tigers player Ty Cobb (image of several below) - Cobb was a supreme base stealer and still holds the batting average record (.367) for major league USA baseball - the estimate value is at least a million dollars - WOW! Dave

An unnamed family in an unnamed Southern state recently happened upon a life-changing discovery while going through their late great-grandfather's crumbling home. Said discovery? It was a paper bag containing seven Ty Cobb baseball cards. As the AP reports, those cards have now been appraised as being worth at least $1 million.

Now departing Canada, at a crusing altitude of about 1500ft, now over NY, with a destination of golf courses and parks all over the east coast. Non stop flytes for two days now. That's a lot of geese!
