I saw this truck parked across the street from the grocery store during my morning walk.

This afternoon, I'm listening to NPR and the story on yet another 'endangered' animal was featured - a creature that I've not thought about in ages, i.e. a Pangolin - kind of a walking artichoke - :) Short description below from the web along w/ a few photos - the baby is cute - Dave

So, what are pangolins?
Also known as scaly anteaters because of their appearance, long tongues and favourite snacks, pangolins are mammals that inhabit tropical forests, dry woodlands and the savannah.

There are eight species still in existence found in India, China, south-east Asia and parts of Africa.

Interesting post Dave! I live and learn sometimg every day, as the saying goes:D. But I must admit I've never heard of Pangolins. Walking artichoke describes these cute guys perfectly. Such a pity another amazing animal on the Endangered Species list.

What a wonderful way to spend part of your day! I would certainly take this tour if I were there.
