Both of these cameras belonged to my father. He used this one when I was a baby.

This one was still in use when I was a teenager, so I was also allowed to take pictures:

Both photos were taken with my Canon DSLR.
My mother owned a Kodak box camera similar to the one in your first photo. I first used it when I was about 10 years old. Unfortunately, film is no longer available in the size needed so it sits on the shelf in my closet.

Too bad! It would be interesting to compare the pictures to those of today's cameras.

Moon, Jupiter (above moon), Regulus (at the left of the moon), the roof of my house and a tree in my backyard (barely visible) a few minutes ago:

OK...how tidy is your garage? A few days ago I just looked more closely at ours and it was unbelievable! It was bedlam! To say it looked like something the cat dragged in would be an understatement. :(
So over the last two days I did a bit of a re-organisation. It's still sadly untidy, but I'm a touch pleased with the result.... anyway when compared to what it was. I didn't think of taking any "before" pictures...would have been too embarrassed.
Anyway, just sharing the result:) Still a bit more to do (a lot of stuff has to be moved out to a backyard shed), but here's a few pics....

This was done while the Mrs. was away with the car. Seems she approved as the car doors could more easily be opened:)

The dog could not see what all the fuss was about:)

Looks like you can actually park a car in your garage and have room left over. Looks like you did a fine job.

Thanks sci. Some of the bigger stuff like ladders will be moved out, but yeah, now easier to open the car doors widely without chipping paintwork:D
That covered up thingy near the front of the garage is my bicycle which I cleaned recently and intend to do more riding on it now:cool:
