Amazing photo Sci.....that must be so devastating for many!

Well my, these are beautiful photos of the lakes! You must have a good eye for it!

Also something I need to do to get my photos in order also. Just need to find the time! ;)

Hi Leelai - yes, I 'put off' this task until retirement - for those who have a LOT of old family photos & 35mm slides (which hold up well over decades), my first suggestion is 'cull out' what you likely will never want to see again and then 'cull' again - :D I probably saved only 25% of our slides & maybe half of the photos. A second recommendation for slides is the need of a scanner w/ a transparency adapter - using a fairly new Canon machine which comes w/ some simple software that also allows removal of dirt/scratches/etc. while scanning (takes a little longer but worth the effort). Dave :)

This little chapel is standing on Apetlon's "highest point", a few km outside my village. This year it will be 300 years since it was erected. It reminds of the Black Plague 1713. Only ~260 people survived.

There were some fab photos of it in today's London Metro paper.

The bees love our daisies. I think the flowers are a type of daisy :).....

I noticed all the bees on your daisies, is the hive nearby?

You're right. They are great. There were also a few more in TwistedSifter.
Seeing it on a photo isn't the same as watching it in reality.

Well, this must be one of the most active threads on the forum! Last posts seem to be about 'around the house' - we live in the Piedmont area of North Carolina - in the spring (April or so), the dogwoods & azaleas are in full bloom w/ the rhododendrons coming a little later - below are some pics around our house at that time of the year - probably my favorite season (and the whole neighborhood looks similar) - Dave :) P.S. wanted to show 6 figures, only 5 allowed - so a quick follow-up post -
