imac ipad app

i bought pages on imac can i sync it to my ipad? When i go to my ipad app store i see a price. Wtf?! Do i have to buy it again?

Yes, OSX and iOS are different operating systems, so they are different version of the same program, they will share documents over icloud tho, once you have both.
