iFixit start iPhone4S teardown and Siri is scared....

The amazing crew at iFixit have got their hands on an iPhone 4S and have started on a teardown of it. That means two things:

1. We will soon know all about the hardware specs of the iPhone 4S – these guys will dissect it with skill and precision and share their findings.

2. Siri is SCARED – witness this frightening exchange:

iFixit: “Siri, may we disassemble you for all to see?”
iPhone 4S (Siri): “42″
iFixit: “I didn’t ask for the meaning of life, Siri…”
iPhone 4S (Siri): “42 is the number of seconds you have left until I initiate the self-destruct sequence…”
iFixit: “Message received.”

but siri is just an app right? not a device attached to the iPhone 4S

Siri is a combination of an app on the iPhone and an Internet link back to Apple, where all the 'clever' processing is done. Your iPhone needs an Internet link for Siri to work.
