For the iCloud control panel on your pc, Windows 7 or 8 have to be installed. (System requirements)

There's no iCloud app. If you have an iCloud mail account, this feature is already installed on your iPad. Just go to Settings - iCloud to see what's enabled there.

Broadband Internet access

thank you I take it outlook 2007 is part of office because I do use outlook for my emails as this replaced hotmail.

Did you already try to remove iCloud from your PC and reinstall it?
Also turn off your computer and on again. See if this helps.

Your iCloud account can also be accessed through any browser: www. icloud . com (without spaces)

In any case, you could send feedback to Apple (screenshot).

If you need to access it urgently, open a browser on your PC and enter the address I posted before.

If you set up iCloud on your iPad, you can read emails there as well.

Yes thanks I have just tested that I sent an email from my laptop and it was received in my iCloud on my IPad plus I have added the iCloud account to my outlook and it received it there also so that's got to be it for me ,thank you for all your advice.
