iCloud on PC

I'm totally new to Apple and have been setting up my new iPad over the last week and decided to try and get my Outlook contacts into the iPad Contacts the best route looking like via iCloud. Unfortunately having misinterpreted the instructions I seem to have different iCloud ID's on my iPad and PC. So now what? Do I simply uninstall iCloud from my PC and start again. Any advice would be appreciated before I dig my hole deeper.

I made my IDs the same on the iPad and on iCloud. Works better that way, to me, anywho.

I don't suppose you would consider moving your contacts from outlook to google and then bring them into iOS that way? I find it work so much better to put contacts and calender in google and let that flow to your devices.
