iCloud Email Acct Suddenly Disappeared

Today my icloud account disappeared. I've noticed that when I send someone a link to a Dropbox document, Dropbox sends it via my icloud email; when senders respond to that email, it goes to my icloud email account. Took me a while to figure out I had email responses in there. Now I need to go back and access a few - and the entire account is gone.

Tried turning the device off and on.

Any ideas?

Have you tried going into settings and setting up the account again?

I didn't know my icloud email, but the account is still all well on my iphone and I pulled it from there. I will try reinstalling. But what's going on? Why did it disappear? Hmmm...

Still no iCloud email. Will sync today and see what that does.

In your iPad Preferences, be sure the iCloud setting switch is green. It is several icons down from "General."

Have you checked that push/fetch is turned on for the account?
