ibooks from Ireland

Waiting for my new ipad2 to arrive and just found out you cant download books using ibooks if you live in Ireland, can anyone tell me why and when or if this will be resolved, thanks

I'm not sure why there is an issue with iBooks in Ireland, but most Members who have this problem simply open an iTunes account in another country. So you could open an account with the UK iTunes store. You don't need a credit card to do this - a gift card from that country is all that is required.
