I pad2 cannot play on car stereo

i can play my ipad 2 on my car stereo but wont charge. I tried my ipod touch can play and charge.what is the problem thanks

Hi Chancellor...I don't have an answer to why your car stereo cannot recognize your iPad, but maybe others may.
