I cannot email pics from my iPad

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue. I follow all the steps but no photo I ever send makes it to the recipient. Any suggestions?

Try rebooting your iPad (on/off button + Home button). And then try sending the picture to the desired person. If it still doesn't work, try resetting the device.
If none of the above works, contact Apple Support, although you should wait for a few more replies before contacting.

By chance how are you attaching the pic? Are you going first to the photo app and selecting your photo and than pressing the square with the arrow pointing out ? This can be found in the upper right hand corner of the screen. When you do this, this will open your email page.

Did you do this way?

I did. I open my photos. Choose a photo, hit the arrow button on the right, hit email. The pic shows up in email form. I enter the email addresses, hit send. But it never makes it to the recipients. Am I missing a step?

With your iPad in portrait mode, tap on the Mailbox button at the top left of the email list. When you can see the list of inboxes and accounts, do you see an Outbox? If you do, are your emails in it?

This is a temporary folder that only shows up when there are emails waiting to be sent. If the your email's are stuck here then there is a problem sending them. Either your intreat connection was bad/slow when you sent them, or your outgoing email is hanging altogether.

Tapping the circle/arrow icon a the bottom of the email list should attempt to send them again.

I never thought about that one, Twerppoet. Thank you for your insight on this...especially mail discussions. There always seems to be a gazillion reasons why mail may not go out/received. I will have to remember your info now as well.

Yep, email is a pain to troubleshoot, even if you're there. Remote is a guessing game most of the time.

I was considering trying to create a Mail tutorial using iBooks Author. Was going to call it Mail in Detail. I got bogged down trying to compile a list of the more common problems and solutions. Now I know why most manuals list one or two easy problem/fixes, and quit.

I decided to start with something simpler, like maybe the Notes app.

I'm actually surprised none of us thought to suggest that, at least so far. Thank you. That often fixes strange behavior.
