I am new to this forum and also NEW iPad owner.

I got the iPad as a combination birthday and Mother's Day gift from my son..isn't he great???? That was just one week ago and I am still feeling my way around, trying to get familiar with this beautiful instrument. I live in a small town in middle Tennessee where I was born, but have spent most of my life in Memphis. I am divorced and have 4 wonderful kids..my ex succumbed to lung cancer a number of years ago. Lots to learn about the iPad..( since I have had it, I get nothing else done!). I love to cook, especially bread and knit up a storm..hence the name..
