Hi Bigcasino - welcome to the forum! Your opening statement above needs to be clarified? Not sure what the OS 10.8.5 has to do w/ your iPad, i.e. I'm running that OS X software version on my iMac and MBPro.

So, what version of iOS is on your iPad (current is 7.0.2)? Did you recently upgrade the iPad to the version mentioned? What to you mean by 'huge icons'? Can you post a screenshot? Let me stop there for you to respond. Dave

Check to make sure you haven't inadvertently turned the iPad's "Zoom" feature on. With it on, a three-fingered tap on the screen will cause the zooming.

To check, go to the General tab in your Settings app and tap on the line titled "Accessibility." Once there, look for the line titled "Zoom." If it's on, there's your issue - you'll need to turn it off to prevent zooming with a three-fingered tap.

I have been finding this happen without knowing how it had happened and did not know how to stop the icons getting bigger for no apparent reason!!
