How to use ifile?

I am facing problem to transfer the file between laptop and iPad ....
Anyone could give me a hand here (step by step) ?

Could you use GoodReader? It enables you to transfer files via WiFi without the use of that dreaded iTunes program.

Well, if you're iPad is jailbroken, Cydia (the jailbreaker's app store) gets automatically installed on your iPad.

Go to Cydia (press the icon), find iFile (it's $4.99, USD) using the Search function. Once you buy it, you'll get a button to install it. It'll install on your iPad and then the iPad will either reboot or respring. Then you can start using it - no need to transfer anything from your laptop/computer to your iPad.

P.S. In other words - iFile only works on jailbroken iPads and you can only get it from Cydia...
