How to download pdf user manuals from web site?

Click on the link in Safari. The PDF will download and open in Safari. Touch the document and a menu bar will appear at the top of the page with options to open the PDF document in the apps on your iPad that support PDF - such as iBooks and GoodReader.

It worked...when there is attachment in mail...when it's said open in I books . It's like save in I books , this is difference only ...opening means saving ....in windows opening means different ..

Yes - you're right. The iPad stores files in a different way to a PC. A PC is a file-centric operating system, where each program can access a single version of the file. The iPad is an app-centric system, where each app keeps its own local file copies.
