How to be unavailable on Facetime

I just went to settings and turned facetime off. Can I assume that when people try to facetime me, I will not hear a ring or be notified.

To turn off FaceBook notifications go to Settings > Notifications; select the FaceBook app and turn off Sounds, and/or anything else you don't want it to bother you with.
