Ok, we have a couple of the IPad's and a couple of the IPod Touch's synced to the same ITunes account. One IPad is my daughter's and one is my son's. He has some games that she does not want and when I synced them last ITunes put those games on her IPad as well. So, how can I remove the game(s) from her IPad without deleting them from ITunes? And is there a way to keep ITunes from syncing certain things to hers in the future?

    Thanks!

on an ipod you get 'wiggly icons' by holding your finger over any of the icons for about 3 or 4 seconds. you can delete apps this way. then press the 'home' button to get back to normal.

i pressume the ipad does similar.

    uninstall apps

When you have the iPad connected to iTunes click on the iPad in the left pane. Then click on the apps tab in the center top of the screen. Uncheck the apps you do not want on that iPad, and then click sync. Do this for each iPad, and you will get only the apps you want on each one.

    Both work :)

Personally prefer to nuke the wiggly. More satisfying.

If you delete it and don't unchecked it on iTunes I believe it might reinstall it when synced again.

The advantages of one account are that you can share apps, music, and movies, and at the same time have different things on each iPad. But, first, click on FILE on the top left of the screen, and click Preferences. Select the DEVICES tab and check the box before "Prevent iPod, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically." Also, on the APPS tab for your iPhone make sure the box before "Automatically sync new apps." is not checked unless you all want to have all the same apps on your iPhones/iPads.Under the MUSIC tab check box before "Sync Music", and then check the box before "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.". Then check the Artist or songs you want to put on your iPhone. That way each of you can have the music you each like on your iPhones. You can also do a similar thing with apps and movies.

Thanks for the info everyone. I did noticed from within ITunes I could check or uncheck music, but I did not see anywhere that I could that with games or movies and TV Show. Will look again tomorrow, when I get a chance to hook them back up.

    Thanks again!
