How do I? Or where do I find?

Hi,
Working with windows OS I'm getting used to have multiple "screens" or rather "sessions" going on simultainesly. How do I do that on my iPad?
I.e. if I want to have my mail running and my notes and/or my webbrowser, how do I do that in an easy way and how do i toggle between the running apps?

Apple is not a Multi Tasking machine. You may open few application, and move back and forth through them by dabble clicking the home button, and select the application you want to get back to.
Once you "leave " an application, it will freeze. Waiting for you to get back to it.
