hi i'm new and i need help

hi guys, my name is Mike glad that this forum tells a lot of great tips and knowledge
i have an ipad2, got it as a present and i loved it so much, and now i'm having troubles here with my iPad guys,
i didn't know that my iPad has been jailbroken and couple days ago my friend kindly updated my IOS and something happened to my iPad.
my iPad can't be turned on, and appeared the logo of iTunes and cable.
i'm still trying to figure out the way to fix my iPad, i tried to plug in my iPad to iTunes, and it didn't work, iTunes said that my device is not eligible.
guys i really need your help. thanks in advance

Try restoring using this tutorial by my fellow moderator, f4780y: http://www.ipadforums.net/jailbreak...lsafe-method-restore-current-version-ios.html

If you follow all the steps exactly as written, you should end up with a stock iPad running the newest iOS. Then, you can re-jail break it if you wish.

Oh, and if you can, make a backup, first, so you don't lose your data and settings.
