I am new to the forum but not to iOS, I am using iPhone 5 and iPad 2, hope to upgrade to iPad Air 128 soon or its next iteration. I also have iMac 27", MacBook 17", and MacBook Air and iPad 1. I switched from PC after 30 years. I am a retired Instructor of Mechanics with interest in computing, microcontrollers, robotics, 3D printing, UAV's, UGV's and carpentry etc.

Hi & welcome to the forum! :) We are recent 'Apple Switchers' (spring a year ago to a MBPro & iMac, although before that time I had an iPod & iPad 2 - wife a Mini) - hope that you enjoy your time here.

We vacationed in Alberta (summer) years ago - Jasper, Banff, & Calgary - had a great time! Dave

G'day dd and a warm welcome to the forum. Nice to see another Canadian here. I'm from Australia myself. As you can see, we members, now over 300,000 strong, are all over the world. You'll enjoy this site I'm sure. Many *topics floating around in the different threads which you can join in. And should you have any questions about your iPad, don't hesitate to ask. Lots of knowledgeable people here able and willing to assist.
    Regards, Andrew
