Greetings to all. Just received an iPad (educator). Is it possible to use my Mac to remotely access the iPad2 or even iPad to iPad across internet?

You can use your iPad to access your Mac - SplashTop is a great app for that - but not the other way around. This is because apps in the iPad are isolated - 'sandboxed' and cannot interact with each other, which is what would be required for your request. Apple did this deliberately to protect the iPad against virus infection, since now a virus would be unable to affect any other app in the iPad.
