I'm new to this forum and was asked to create a new thread as an intro to myself.

I'm a music producer working with PC since a decade for TV/Radio Jingles, Background score (short films, Documentary films, Corporate films, Series), Religious albums, etc.

I recently bought my first Apple product, iPad mini and loving it a lot. I am able to record, store work on a small ideas i get where ever i am and it helps me to improve on that piece later using my PC.

I don't own a smart phone yet, yes you read it right. I never owned a smart phone. I was planning to get a smart phone with bigger screen as I can use for my music as well as phone calls. Seeing the new iPad mini and its price, I bought it and later came to know it doesn't have phone features . But still its a great device.

I use iPad Mini 32GB WiFi+3G. I did various research before deciding to buy this on grounds of music making tablets with its competitors like Android (Galaxy, Nexus) and Windows. I came to know about iOS stability and low latency for music. And I don't regret for this decision. I could just get a low profile smart phone or a normal basic phone.

That is a great intro with some apps for me to take a good look at too.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
