Help with yahoo messenger

I Have yahoo messenger on my iPad, when I connect to yahoo on my laptop it disconnects me from the one on my iPad. Ok no problem, but when I go to reconnect to yahoo on my iPad I have to input my password again and I get the wait logo (the little swirly thing) in order for me to connect again I have to shut down my iPad and start it back up. I have to do this quit a bit (not all the time), Does anybody know why it would be doing this? It is getting frustrating.

maybe you have deleted the cache and cookies during the using?

That is strange. Have you tried deleting the app and re-installing it?
